Each organization is different, so it is not a simple yes or no question. Keep in mind that your ED is being reviewed on the entire year, and not just the past couple of months. Feedback and transparency are helpful. Your ED may be deserving of your review especially if they have performed exceptionally during this, crisis.
Most evaluations coincide with the fiscal year end. This is a time for you to provide your ED with a roadmap for the next year and, under these extraordinary conditions, this is important if they are to perform their duties. Remember an evaluation is not only about their performance but also about setting goals and objectives for the coming year.
